The first freedom:

Freedom from unreasonable restrictions imposed by governments. Both extremes, Conservatives and Progressives would have the Governments impose unreasonable policies on the people. It is very hard for democratic governments to be reasonable; you will not get elected if you don't pander to extremists.

Second freedom:

Freedom to make your own decisions without coercion, propaganda or manipulation (marketing). So much pressure and information are pushed at people that they have a hard time seeking the truth and freely acting.

Third freedom:

Freedom from want. Not being obligated to spend almost all their waking time performing for food and shelter.

The first freedom is codified in the U.S. Bill of rights. The second and third are only aspirational in the U.S.
