The make or break in climate change disaster will be how we react when the shit hits the fan. Will we be generous and self-sacrificing, or we be greedy and glutenous.

Will we open our borders to the displaced and share what we have, or will we close our borders and hoard what we have. Not just North America but all the places that will be better off and better prepared.

The lives of billions will depend on the generosity of those better off. A hundred years from now will they be talking about the "Climate Holocaust" or the "Second New Deal?"
