The most memorable meals of my life are from summer vacation on Deer Island in Maine. Steamed Lobsta, clams and corn on the cob in a pot with a bed of sea weed on an open fire, we dug the clams ourselves. Miller Highlife. Lots of butter. Boston Cream Pie for dessert, Maxwell House coffee in a percolator.

What is so innovative about grilled asparagus. I am not a fan of artichokes.
