The not quite so dominant white culture. It is not just immigrants that live apart from white people. Black Americans and Asian Americans often live in racially concentrated neighborhoods. I live in a mixed-race neighborhood, but it is that way because the older white residents are dying off or downsizing and most of the people moving in are not all white Americans, but they are a mixed bag, not alike at all.
