The people are unlikely to make good choices and most of them know it. They want the smart people make their world great and then if they don’t like the result they complain. Rarely do we do even as much as vote. Voting results in things like Trump or Nixon or Clinton.

I don’t buy the argument we don’t have the time. We make time for a lot of other things. More the driver is we don’t have the money. If you don’t put money into the process you can spent all your time on an issue and not make any difference. Talk is cheap. If some developer wants to cut down the forest and put in a development, commercial, industrial or residential it is going to take millions of dollars to stop them.
