The Political Parties should be roundly criticized. We should not pretend they don't exist we should work to make them less influential. We should support policies not Parties.

I was reading what seemed like a good policy story that got twisted into a political story. When you inject Party into a policy discussion you end the discussion of the merits of the policy except for how it supports keeping a Party in power.
