The Universe is not infinite.

This thought occurred to me some time ago, why not a short piece about it.

If the universe originated with the Big Bang, then the universe is only as big as the distance light could travel in the time since the big bang. This there is a limit to the size of the Universe, it is not infinite.

In middle school one of my friends and I talked about the universe and what it would be like at the edge of the universe. Our science teacher corrected us and told us the universe went on forever. Well, maybe she was not right. What is beyond the edge of the universe, me, I speculate that there are other Big Bang universes beyond the edge of our universe. They may be so far away that the light from them has not even reached our universe. I think of that cosmos as the Multiverse or Omniverse.

Just something to think about, not that it matters.
