There is a purpose to setting limits on government assistance seniors and the disabled.

"There is no real purpose in forcing seniors or the disabled to live in any less than a dignified lifestyle."

I think those limits must be democratically determined, who says they should support a dignified lifestyle.

dignified

[ˈdiɡnəˌfīd]

ADJECTIVE

having or showing a composed or serious manner that is worthy of respect.

I think you should pick a different adjective.

Unlimited government assistance to seniors and the disabled would certainly be inflationary. A reasonable limit is required.

Right now the purpose of limits on government assistance is to control inflation and avoid young people protesting too generous assistance to the already much better off older generation.
