There is not such thing as White Culture or White People. There are cultures that are predominately white and there are ethnicities that are predominately white. The are many white cultures even it the just the U.S. then add all the European and Middle Eastern white cultures. Let's not forget the Canadians, Quebecois, Kiwi's and Aussie's.

Have you seen the maps that divide the U.S. by the predominate white culture.

I actually think these are mixed not white cultures since they are heavily influenced by the origin of the migrants. Sadly the indigenous cultures had very little influence.

The bland food trope is so lame. Food that does not use curry or cayenne or other heavy spices is not bland it taste like the main ingredient. Heavy spices are often used to make poor quality ingredients palatable. Leg of Lamb, Clams, Corn on the Cob, Fiddleheads, Dandelions, Lobster, Trout, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Planked Salmon, Cardamom Bread, Chowder of many types, potatoes done many ways, apple and walnut salad, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, whipped cream and cheese and other dairy. None of those things are bland and they are the foods of my culture. Yes and sometimes my Mom also used some stronger flavors, garlic, dill, horseradish, honey, maple syrup, saffron, cinnamon. My cooking is more Cajun than hers since I have moved to the south but I use strong spices sparingly but I have hot sauce if you need it.
