A woman encountering an unknown man or bear in the woods is unlikely to receive any reward from a bear encounter but might receive a reward from the encounter with the man. Bear encounters lack any upside whereas the man encounter is more likely to result in harm than the bear encounter it also is more likely to result in a reward. Properly manifested the man encounter will be beneficial. Something not assessed is the benefit of the woman being armed. I think the potential harms are greatly reduced with the woman carrying a 50 cal. Desert Eagle and the potential reward greatly increased. A woman meeting bears and men in the woods properly armed and prepared to reap rewards might be well satisfied. There is the possibility of dead men and bears in the woods, but a woman's rewards do not come cheap. What happens in the woods stays in the woods.
