This formulation is not right. Maybe should be "young people, do not consume mainstream media and get all of their information from the Internet" Mainstream is as much audio and video as it is something to be read. I get almost 100% of my information from the Internet even if it is mainstream media. I don't read newspapers or paper magazines or watch TV. I do read stories online by mainstream outlets as well as other online sources but not TwitterX or Tiktoc or Instagram or Utube, o Facebook. Of course, I am here on Medium. Google, Yahoo and Microsoft New dump a lot up lies into my feeds and Medium does not do much better. Their algorithms do not serve me well. What might be click bait for other I often ignore.
