This is a good story and an example of why I follow you. I do want to comment.
I don't think that corporate tax rates would matter much a lot regarding generating tax revenue if we raised the capital gains tax rate. If corporations don't pay taxes the money either goes into their bank as cash, they invest it buying back stock, pay dividends, raise salaries or invest it in growth. Those activities raise the income of stockholders or staff.
Lowering corporate tax rates would make U.S. companies more competitive and provide a disincentive for them to offshore profits.
I say lower corporate tax rates and raise capital gains tax rates.
