This is nonsense and even the logic in these statements is flipped.

You mean if we self-censor we are less human not that if we reject any force that tries to make us self-censor the truth. We are less human.

Actually it is very human to self-censor. Humans withhold the truth very often, if we didn't we would have killed ourselves off by now. We must pick our battles with care.

I don't know anything about Medium curation but that might be because I am not in the Partners Program, I give all my hundreds of stories away for free. People don't even have to be a member to read them.
