This might be a harbinger for what will happen in the developed world if the rich want it to be so. With so many working but struggling to maintain a decent lifestyle, it must be because someone is exploiting them. When workers don't get a living wage the value the produce is going to someone else, ie. the rich. Not much to prevent this from happening all around the world.
