This sounds like a lot of effort and kind of phony.

Why not make it easy on yourself and just be yourself. Find someone who wants you for you and does not have to be pursued, wooed and chased. Of course this won't work if you are a self absorbed or distant partner unless you find a partner who wants to be mostly alone. If you are caring and effective then you will naturally do all the little things that show you care.
