This was a good story as far as it goes. I would take a book to be even close to complete.

Leadership can be taught. It does require training and practice. Start small and grow to lead larger and larger groups.

While it is not totally true but I have said anyone who wants to be the leader should not be allowed to be the leader. Most of those people just want to be dictator. Leading is way hard, it is not about giving orders it is about getting people to want to follow, follow the leader's lead.

It is easier to be a leader if your bosses are good leaders too. Having to manage up as well as down sucks. I would rather pick up trash on the side of the road than lead a bunch of //////// unmentionables.
