I would dispute:

The United States has on peers not on the lists not in the OEDC. The none of the Liberal Democracies have even half the population of the United States. None of them have the hang over of Slavery or Jim Crow we have. None of them see the kind of immigration we see. None of them are remotely like the U.S. Add to that the burden of being the Democratic Super Power with the expectation of being the World's Law Enforcement with military spending greater than all Liberal Democracies combined.
California is bigger than most of those countries on the list. Try the same analysis using California or Florida. Try using Louisiana or Mississippi.
