Tim, you are close and sort of right. Freedom and time are a measure of wealth but the ultimate measure is power.

With power comes freedom and power is the ability to choose how you spend your time.

Maybe you could write or find stories about pathways to power or independence thru power.

Power also can provide more security.

Played right, money can be power but played wrong money can be a trap.

Pursuit of riches for riches sake is a trap pursuit of riches for sake of power is the pursuit of liberation, freedom, independence and security.

Some call it F you money. Enough money that you don't need your job, any job.

Yeah, you are still scared. You worry your tiny side business my collapse. You are not free until you have no fear.

I am still not totally free. I still have fear. I have my F you money, plenty but how do I protect it and my family. Market crashes, inflation, a confiscatory government, uninsured liability.

Freedom/power is only the first stage in wealth, the second is to find meaning. I have been free and had more free time than I knew what to do with. I had no passion. Funny, I found my passion and it was back too work. I work for a company that is changing the world and they can do that because of me. I work 10 hours a day because I have passion for my work.
