Time fixes a lot of things that effort can't. Can't aging well can be one's vengeance against mean girls. I know that aging well has been my solace regarding the studly competition of my younger days. I was never buff but now most of them have gone soft and I have leveled up by comparison. I would think the same might apply with women. You might not have been the hottest girl in school or in your 20's but very few people can maintain a perfect image for a lifetime. Only a fool expects to have a partner who is perfect, that fool will be lonely.

It is cliche' that if you want to know what a women might look like as she ages, look at her mom. Me, I don't think a woman must be young to be beautiful or even a woman must be pretty to be beautiful.

Ugly is more visible than pretty. Do you need to be visible. Invisibility can be desirable.
