To the contrary. If we teach boys and girls what to expect. If we tell them the truth, I believe we will have less abuse. Boys will be boys only if you give them a chance. Boys need to know that in the long run they will regret abusing anyone and they need to know that if they enjoy abusing someone, they need to get professional help before it destroys their life. Girls need to know that there are a bunch of bad actors out there and they need to beware while it should not be that way, there is no way society can protect you from all the bad actors and most times society can't punish these bad actors. Most crimes not just rape and sexual abuse go undetected, unreported and unpunished. There are even many unsolved and unpunished murders.
We teach children not to talk to strangers but when they become young adults, somehow, we think society will protect them.
Beware of people with power. The more powerful they are the more likely they are a criminal. When dealing with people more powerful than you, be prepared with your most powerful defense.
Understand, exercising your right to free speech will not prevent a criminal from bashing your face in and if someone does not film the act the criminal will probably get away with the assault.
Drug crimes have been a target of law enforcement for decades and that has done almost nothing to stop drug crimes and overdoses. The idea that some sort of improvement in Courts and Law Enforcement will make much of a reduction sex crime is non-sense. To reduce sex crimes women probably need to start shooting the perps, maybe just shoot their balls off.
