We are not teetering as there is no brink just a long slow decline followed by long period of darkness. We will care not if the darkness ever ends as we, our children and their children will be long dead. We will not know what becomes of the world. Work the rock if you must but maybe your task is creating some beauty or sharing much love in the ruins.
