Seems like they got some negative press. The group was not all men by the way.

It they were breaking the law they should have been ticketed or what ever is the process for citations for violating the Governors Orders.

If they would have been cited for violation the Governors Orders then we could have all have a day in court to address the legality of the Governors Orders.

The Black Panthers did and do similar things without getting shot.

Better stated “it is privilege that allows you to openly carry weapons in a government building without being arrested, perceived as a threat, or killed. It is important that those with privilege exercise our rights since those without privilege would be at greater risk. That demonstration actually could have set the stage for a mirror protest by an armed group of women of color asserting their rights. Imagine the backlash if the white men were allowed but the women of color were denied.

I suspect you are a person of some privilege, you should use it to break down some barriers.

How about burning cop cars. Mutilated effigies of lawmakers.

It would seem that storming the statehouse openly carrying weapons is a moderate and measured response if you think the government exceeded its authority.
