What do you consider a lot of people. I won't pay that price for cable TV and cable TV is garbage. Streaming services are more like $100 a year not a month. I had subscriptions to Bloomberg, Wall St. Journal and New York Times at one time or another and did not think they provided good value. I can get the stories from those sources that I want to read for free either directly (they give you a few for free each month) or by using a search engine. Those sources also while authoritative have significant bias, relying on the exclusively will create an information bubble bias. I think Google News is a valuable tool. It aggregates stories from many sources with a variety of bias. Wikipedia is awesome and I donate there like I donate here.
