You don't need an "off-grid luxury compound," Forget about healthcare, the sick will just have to suffer and die but the healthy need food and shelter. I don't know maybe your plan is to have a billionaire sugar daddy to take you in. My plan is for people to trade me food for labor. I can do lots of stuff and have tools. They can try and take my tools but then I can't make them stuff and they might not like what I have waiting for them.

There is likely to be a society after the collapse, different but still, people will abide.
