Compare this to my rental property. It cost $120,000 and provides $12,000/year in “dividends” or about 10%. This still isn’t enough to live on, but it’s a 400% better than the average 2% dividend of the S&P 500.

What kind of rental property only costs $120,000 but returns $12,000 a year after expenses and depreciation.
