While I am not the Penguin, I can be argumentative. Multiculturalism is no holy grail. It creates more problems than it solves. Cultures clash sometimes violently. In America we can barely handle the clash between Liberalism and Puritanicalism. The old approach to different cultures was if they keep it under the hat we can look the other way. They can practice their ways in their community if it does not spill out and cause trouble. Orthodox Jews, Amish, Fundamentalist Mormons, Native Americans, LGBTQ+, China Town, and more were accepted because they kept to themselves. Bringing all this into the general population makes for hardships. Having to accommodate various dietary issues, bathroom issues, odd holidays, various religious days or hours of worship. Wrong pronouns, wrong food, wrong sabbath, wrong name for God, can drive you to want to be politically incorrect and unwoke.

You understand that more and more people in America are homeschooling their children because they don't want to battle with how what they might be taught in school conflicts with what they want their children to believe. And then there are those who want what they believe to be taught to all the students in school. There are really not enough days and hours in school to teach multiple cultures.
