While I did not know and am not sure it is worse than it has ever been, the censorship is bad. I admit I have self-censored my writing out of fear of reprisals. A few have too much power and big governments have too much power. I think we are far short of fascism, but we certainly are under the thumb of Neo-Liberal/Conservative Plutocratic Oligarchic Elites. There are few voices they cannot silence if they choose too.
