While I totally agree with and support your premise that we should create space station colonies the highlighted sentence is not true. There is no place without gravity. Certainly, in vicinity of Earth the gravity field is noticeable dominated by the Earth, Sun and Moon. I understand why people think there is no gravity, but gravity is still there it is just balance by other forces and what is call artificial gravity is just an artificially created force that must be resisted in a manner similar to the way we resist gravity standing on a surface.
