While this sounds good, the data shows it is not the case. Almost all the benefits of growth go to upper classes and very little trickles down to the poor and working class. Regarding opportunity, we have seen decades of growth with little increase in opportunity for the working class and poor in America. The kind of policies that create greater opportunities have been diminished in those times.
