While wealth and income inequality is not a good thing, it is not the problem most make it out to be.
It is not important, how rich are the rich. What is important is how poor are your poor.
We don't need to bring down the rich. We need to raise up the poor.
Most developed nations recognize this and provide basic and essential services that actually make the poor not poor just less wealthy. The services also mean that job markets can't abuse them because they can survive without being a wage slave.
The U.S. is a less developed country. We have much more poverty because we provide only a minimum of basic and essential services. We also make those benefits hard to collect and stigmatize them. I won't claim that this a conspiracy against the working poor, but the condition is aided and abetted by politics and political contributions including the shooting of Socialism and Communism.
