Why ought it? Anyway, the universe does not care if you think it is worthy and it is not like you have a choice. I am sure if there is a God, that God creates these challenges and paradoxes to test us or for its entertainment. I wonder if selection for the afterlife is based more on goodness or more on entertainment value. If God finds you entertaining, would you need to be good to have everlasting life? Why would it be everlasting anyway, God could grant you life after death but terminate it at any time, it would not have to be everlasting. Hell could be the same way, serve you time and be done, not punished for eternity. To my mind Trump's life would be hell but I guess with his ego, he is enjoying the delusion that his life is great.

I am sure a delusion could be quite enjoyable.
