We have been like children living off what our Mother could provide. Mother has given more than she could spare. Now we must become the adult and care for our sick aging Mother.

Time to put away childish things

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, darkly, but then face to face.

Our species is facing its rite of passage into adulthood. I hope we succeed.
