Yes, ACA was a first weak step but at least you can get health insurance without a job or if you does not provide heath insurance.

We need universal healthcare next. Hypothetically with UBI everyone could buy insurance under the ACA but too many people would roll the dice, keep the premiums and not get proper healthcare.

This is going to sound evil but I worry about who is going to do all the shitty jobs if we have a meaningful UBI. I worry about it even if we don't have UBI.
