Yes, where is our humanity. We are all complicit in the world wide inequity.

The buck does not stop with Trump. Not scapegoating's Woodward, not making excuses for Trump. Trump is probably near the worst alive today, right next to Putin, Kim or Jinping.

Woodward could have done us a favor. We all could do more. Maybe it is just his reputation that lead us to expect more of an intervention than an expose'.

Journalists can't really not interfere with the story. The recognition that the story is being captured changes the behavior of the participants. Somewhat like the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principal. You will never know what would have happened if the reporter was not there.

A reporter who witnessed soldiers being killed does not have to choose to pick up a weapon to save lives, maybe the reporter provides first aid or carries a wounded soldier off the battle field instead of just filming them bleeding to death.

Blaming Trump for all of the administrations failures is letting too many people off the hook. Trump has a lot of helpers in this fiasco. It also fails to recognize the failure of the system that allowed him to become who he became and then let him become President.

Saying it is a Trump's fault papers over to many cracks in the system.
