Hispanics, is it wrong for people with roots in lands that were for a time Spanish Possessions to accept the Hispanic label? My original question was about why people who seem to be more Native American than Latinx would choose to be considered Hispanics. I think the answer was that Native Americans faced worse discrimination than those that could pass for other.
