You are right "Things feel different,"

but no it is not "there’s an air of inevitability about the economy’s decline." There is a mystery regarding the economy's resilience in the face of all the doomcasters. Lacking irrational exuberance, we will not need a crash. The rich pray for a crash so they can have the opportunity to buy cheap stocks and property. Most things are not overvalued enough to crash. Two years of the market moving sideways has kept things cool.

Not "It’s spiraling out of control." but instead is seems to be a slow unwinding. If not, a soft landing it is a crash that everyone walks away from with barely a scratch.

I think it is being tackled with finesse not "it’s time we tackle it head-on."

Yes, "Instead of kicking the can further down the road." We should increase revenue at the state and federal level, tax the rich. Tax the rich and invest it in our future and reduce the deficit.

Schiff is now a schil for the status quo, Oligarchs and Plutocrats.
