You got me right; I love Jesus as he taught us to love each other including the sinners. I take much of the teachings ascribe to him as a guide but all the mystical stuff I discount as historical fiction. I think the bibles are historical fiction. Stories, good stories, maybe the best stories ever written. No Jesus was not is not and never will be God. I don't ignore everything else about Christianity I just don't attend church or belong to a religion. I will not take the vow that almost all Christian Churches require of members. I can't because I don't believe Jesus is my Lord and savior.
