I must be the exceptional case. If Inflation has been running 10 percent a year for the last 20 years, I have not felt it. I have made no effort to curb my spending in the last decade but my spending has not risen very much. My credit card bills should have more than doubled in the last decade if inflation was 10% per year. They have not and neither have my utility bills. I pay my medical bills with the credit card so that is included, I almost never use cash or checks.

What costs more than twice as much today as in 2010 that is driving up prices. These stories provide headline numbers without supporting data.
