You need to defend yourself, what is good about Apple pay? It is not even close to Univeral, some places I shop don't even have tap to pay you still have to swipe or insert to complete a transaction. When I walk to the store, sometimes I don't bring my phone, it weighs down my athletic shorts, I just bring my credit card and DL. Why do I want an additional intermediary between me and my service provider? I am not on the iOS eco system, I don't find Apple products provide good value.

Apple Pay is no miracle, it is not even technologically advanced, many similar products provide similar services, Apple pay might be better than the other ones, but I would not know, I don' use them either.
