You still don't explain why we need so many more houses when the population is growing so slowly. I think you are saying that there is a huge reservoir of pent up demand but if that is the what you are trying to say then just get the data, share it and present it that way.

Reducing immigration will reduce the tax base but it will increase wages and benefits not reduce them.
