At least a dozen years but probably more, if it even happens at all. It will have to get a lot worse before people take violent action against the rich and powerful. The likely outcome of taking violent action against the rich and powerful is the rich and powerful defeat all who act against them.

They have already effectively silenced Greta. Her voice is now but a whisper in the wind. She can't mobilize a large enough following to achieve more than a flea bite on the ass of the rich. She is not even a nuisance to them.

Only the rich and powerful can effect violence against the rich and powerful. The only effective change will come from fighting between factions of the rich and powerful. I don't see Warren Buffet or Jeff Bezos empowering Greta. If not them than who? Money is still the source of most power. It could amplify Greta's message or drown it out. Oil money stifled the environmental movement for half a century and counting. We will get the change that the rich and powerful will allow or abet.

If you want violent change you will need to find some rich and powerful backers. Look what happened when Osama Bin Laden tried for violent change. Are you imagining a climate change revolt would have more success.
