You were looking too hard for the miracle. It is all around you and out to infinity. Creation is the undeniable miracle. Even if the Universe was not so wonderfully complex and massive it would still be a miracle.

I think what you hated was not God but religion and the poor human attempts to own God.

There is but one God the creator of the Universe. There is no good without bad, no light without dark. I guess there could be love and joy without hate and suffering but love and joy would be less treasured.

I believe that God made our existence a horrible mess, it is the crucible of our transcendence.

I can’t say that God noticed your reaction to the Raspberry Face or anything else but I have no doubt that your experiences in this God created Miracle of a Universe have shaped you.
