You will have to help me understand how and when "Zionist" became a code word for "Jew." I have been using Zionist meaning Israeli Nationalists, particularly, the ones who pushed to annex the occupied territories. I guess that from now on, I will not use the word Zionist since its meaning has been coopted and can't be used without appearing as possibly antisemitic. I don't believe it is proper to stereotype people based on their religion or race or national origin. Is it possible to be critical of the current government of Israel and to advocate for Israel to withdraw to the pre-Six-Day war (pre-1967) borders and not be labeled as antisemitic.
